Shipping policy

All orders shipping to an address in Canada are shipped in accordance to Canada Post prices; shipping for international orders will vary by country. Free shipping is granted to Canadian customers once your basket reaches $75. After your order has been placed, you can expect it to ship within 2-4 business days due to recent parcel changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Once your order has shipped and depending on your shipping preference, you will receive a confirmation email and may receive a tracking number via email.

Wholesale and custom orders are shipped via Canada Post or dropped off to retailers in the General Toronto Area (Toronto, Scarborough, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Vaughan, Markham, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa only). Buyer assumes all responsibility for shipping costs and fees, including shipping insurance if requested.

Shipping costs will be charged to your account at the time of order using the billing information provided on your account. You will receive an invoice at this time reflecting the shipping costs.

We do not ship with signature confirmation, but can if you request it. Please be sure to double check your address as Curry People Candle Co. is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address.

Please be aware that Curry People Candle Co. is not responsible for delayed transit times once your order leaves the studio. We have no control over transit times once packages are given to the mail carrier. Should your package become delayed or lost, a claim will need to be filed with the shipping carrier.

International orders are shipped via the least expensive method in order to save you costs. Please note that you, the international buyer, are responsible for all customs fees and expenses (if any should arise). Curry People Candle Co. is not financially responsible for paying such fees. International orders can take anywhere from 7-28+ days to arrive once shipped. Please check given tracking information should you have any questions.

WHERE ARE MY CANDLES COMING FROM?
All candles are hand poured and shipped from Pickering, ON, Canada and are made with cotton wicks.

DELIVERY WINDOW
Please allow at least 3-4 weeks from the time of your order for completion of items - current shipping times have changed. Larger domestic orders may require more time; please contact me for information about availability.

SUMMER SHIPPING POLICY
The products sold on Curry People Candle Co. are temperature sensitive and can be damaged during the summer. We try to do everything we can to ensure that your candles arrive to you perfectly in the hot summer months, but please note that you are ordering at your own risk. Also, during this season we will be only shipping on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for Canada post deliveries. That reduces the time candles are left sitting in postal warehouse.
